I always enjoy working with Franny! She is passionate and cares about what she does. Franny understands what the purpose of the assignment is, analyzes and assesses what is required to achieve the results effectively, designs the tasks to fit the needs, adjusts as necessary because she is aware that the unexpected may intrude at any time. She does it all with grace, humour, and professionalism which always make it a joy to work with her. I am only disappointed when I am unavailable for a project, so please keep asking me!

I have known Franny McCabe-Bennett for almost eight years and it has always been a joy to work with her.  I admire how well organized she is, I know that my volunteer duties will be well defined.  I have been volunteering for over nine years for several festivals and theatres including the Toronto Fringe Festival, TIFF, Factory Theatre and Buddies in Bad Times.  As an experienced volunteer, what gives me confidence is knowing what I am supposed to do, and Franny lets me know what is expected of me. When Franny calls for volunteers, I am happy to answer.  I look forward to seeing her beautiful smiling face and to see what her hair colour is this time.

Embarking on our first production was an exciting and at times overwhelming journey. The front of house and ticket sales is an integral part to a successful run. We had many questions as to what would be the most productive way to let people know about the show without stressing us out and making sure things ran smoothly. Basketball has Michael Jordan and box office has Franny McCabe-Bennett!  Franny's mastery of the nuances of box office is stunning so she was naturally our go-to resource as we embarked on our first production.  It's such a crucial part of the production process and our small company couldn't afford to get it wrong.  Franny focused on the key concepts and broke the program (Brown Paper Tickets) down to such simple steps for us that we were able to get through a two-week run of a show with minimal box office stress.  Her help made all the difference!
